So my activate remote from the Lexus app does not work. My subscription is good till Dec. 2025, but when I try to activate it through the SOS button it say unable to connect. Just seeing if anyone else is having this problem? Also already did it once and it said it could take up to 24 hours, but after that the SOS button stop working.

 

The only time I messed with it was when my salesman was setting it up for me, all I did was watch and haven't messed with it since. Sorry....

 

Also have the same problem. I wanted to disable vehicle tracking, but the SOS button didn't work. And it literally says push the botton to do that lol

 

Yeah its not working now the button and now I have call the dealership to make a appointment. It all started after I updated the Lexus app.

 

Does the Remote Start work when using the keyfob three (3) press cadence?
Press the fob "lock" button three times and hold the last press until the car's marker lights start to flash.
If this does not RS the car then you must see the dealer.
If this does RS the car then work with your phone, delete App and reinstall and log in again. iOS up to date.

 

The remote start with the fob works. It does not work with the Lexus app. The problem is when go to the app, it tells me to verify ownership by pressing the SOS button in the vehicle. But the SOS button no longer connects to the server. It will say unable to connect even though the light by the SOS button is green.

 

Call the 800 - 25LEXUS (800-255-3987) and speak with them. You may end up
faxing a copy of your buyer's order with VIN and then they will handle this. Be aware
that the fob Remote Start is now complimentary for 120 months, 10 years but the App
and Safety Connect was a 36 month, 3 year trial. The subscription that was once @249/year
after a one (1) year trial but is now $160/year after the 3 year trial.
