Default Check Engine and Dash Christmas Light

Y’all, so, I was unfortunate to experience dash Christmas lights within the first 1K of ownership. I thought is was the cel issue that everyone was experiencing but I removed the RR intake and oiled air filter that I had installed before bringing it in for Dealer Service. The dealer mechanic saw some marks of some bolts and told me that the issue was caused by the intake letting too much air in the engine and not to use aftermarket parts only use genuine Lexus parts. I told him that the warning lights and other messages didn’t coincide with what he says is the issue. I also told him that I have been driving for almost 1K with the parts so I don’t think that was the issue, but he is the Subject Matter Expert so I understand. . He reset the system, test/drove it for a couple hours Mr told me that everything was fine. When I got home, I reinstalled the intake without the oiled air filter. I used the OEM air filter. All was ok for the next 3k-4k miles. Last week, the dash Christmas lights returned just as they did last time. Again, the lights have to do with the brake system and other secondary safety systems (See pics). I have an appointment tomorrow. Any thoughts.

That's consistent with the exhaust leak related CELs.

This looks JUST LIKE the exhaust gasket problem.

Buy an OBDII scanner for like 20 bucks and check the codes before you go to the dealer. The code should indicate where the leak is coming from

I agree 100% with what was said, especially about the reader. At this juncture, all shops should know about the CEL issue and should automatically replace the gaskets without any push back.

Maybe you should take screenshots of the posts from 2022 to show the exact same dash lights. I think the codes were posted as well. With this ‘expert’ you’ll need to go in locked and loaded.
