Default Android Auto Cutting Out

Does anybody else have issues with Android Auto disconnecting and reconnecting? I tried using different cables and that didn't fix it.

Amazon Amazon

I would recommend this wireless adapter. I had it on my old car, it's on my wife car right now and I also have it on my IS500. Works like a charm, no issues. I highly recommend.

By any chance do you have a hardwired dashcam installed to your car?

I recently did an install in my car and as part of it I had disconnected the battery. When I finished and turned the car on the first time, when I connected my phone for Android Auto, it kept reconnecting and disconnecting. I had to unplug the dashcam, then plugged in my phone, then replugged my dashcam.

After that the issue never came back, and I can unplug and plug my phone to Android Auto with no problems anymore.

Use an air canister and blow out your usb connector on your phone then a qtip with a little isopropyl alcohol and wipe it before blowing again. Hope that works.

Thanks for the link, I just ordered the Apple CarPlay version, plus they currently have a $10 coupon on it .

I had the Motorola ma1 wireless dongle for android auto. I gave up on it, it would disconnect at least once on every drive, if not more than once. Finally it just stopped working after 2 months. I switched to the aa wireless and barely have any issues.

I ended up getting this one Walmart from Walmart and no problems so far. It's definitely a game changer! You keep your phone in your pocket, it connects on start up and that's it.
