Default Bad *** Front

I took my first major highway trip in the 500 and noticed something curious. Heading northbound from Philly to Hudson Valley area of NY. I was able to open it up on I-95 and I-287. What I noticed was that as I approached most "left-lane huggers" from behind, they moved over to the slower lanes without much hesitation. Most of them. I observed the same phenomenon on the return leg.

I'm wondering if that beautiful, low, front end coming up from their rear view- impels these slower drivers to get out of the way? It was nice.

I normally prefer the look of a car with fog lights. I can't decide if I would or would not like fog lights on the IS.

I can't remember what company makes a a replacement grill with 3 led "fog lights". I would prefer a functional fog light.

You are correct sir. I routinely observe many moving across when they see me approaching from behind with fury (especially at night with the look just like your infrared pic ). LOL.
It's a menacing front end.

Funny 🤣 while I agreed the whole Is500 looks awesome but I doubt it’s because of the look of the front end lol

When I had a ES as loaner awhile ago not even F sport package, and of course newer ES w/ the spindle grill, some old lady flip me the bird, I wasn't even tailgating her I just came from behind a little fast. The spindle grill is aggressive even in non f sport form lol.

I think the front end is imposing, but on its own I am not sure it’ll force people over. Couple a higher rate of speed with those angry-*** DRLs and the JAWS theme begins… 😈

It borders between imposing and elegant, which is what I like about it. It's assertive, but it's not angry.

Here's a less studio-produced photo of the front end I took recently. I do like the way this edit turned out.
