I'm interested in the midpipe, but it won't let me PM you.
im not sure if there’s a limit count on posts made or if your profile is set to not send/receive PMs. Hmmm…I’ll see if I can put it in the market place where it probably belongs. Haha. Where in CA are you located?
Alright serious question: where are the missing underbody panels and center brace? It's suspiciously missing. Does it not fit the Apex catback?
This is not an issue exclusive to the IS 500. There are RC F exhuast systems that do not have the clearance for the factory center bracing. I personally have a Borla exhaust on my 2020 RC F, we had to remove the center brace for clearance. It did not change the rigidity of the chassis at all, and I drive my car pretty hard on the backroads.

Wonder if they’re just leaving the mid brace off to better show their system … I installed the resonated Apexi midpipe last weekend and had plenty of room to reinstall the center brace.
i'm sure it's to show the pipes...it's from Apexi's site so i'm sure they wanted to show it without any covers. if the resonated pipes fit, there should be no issues w/ non-res as it has it takes up less space in the back.
At first, I used the Apexi gaskets only at the front and it triggered the CEL. We installed both, old factory ones and Apexi’s and it went away and never came back.
I want to order more OEM ones in case that light comes back.

So you stacked the gaskets? From the round shape of old OEM gaskets combined with the new football shaped Apexi gaskets it seems like it’d work.
I went with new OEM gaskets only on the resonated Apexi and so far, so good. Did have a minor burning smell that eventually went away, but went ahead and put wire harness tape over the leads going to the oxygen sensors as the regular electrical tape I had on hand didn’t seem the best long term precautionary measure.
Regardless loving the sound while being able to keep the factory exhaust tips. No brainer for $1200.
Sounds refined and yet a hint of the V8 rawness. Quite fitting for a Lexus with performance DNA infused. Prefer this over the non-resonated version, for sure.
