Has anyone changed their struts?
My car is at 90k miles, I did the spring install around 30-35k miles. Car is starting to feel a bit sloppy and I think I might have to install new struts. And if anyone has bought them, stick with OEM or another brand?
Every 3rd-gen IS 350 F Sport before 2021 should have AVS. AVS has always been exclusive to the 350 F Sport (at least, in North America), but for 2021 and up, one has to opt for the Dynamic Handling Package or F Sport Handling Package to get it.

Also, I test-drove a 2018 IS 350 AWD F Sport that had Sport S+ mode.

The brochure for 2017 [1] makes it sound like IS 350 F Sport models come standard with AVS... I don't know why they would have changed it from earlier model years. Do you have Sport S+ mode?

yes, all IS350’s (until 2021) have sport+ mode but i think only the rwd got the AVS. i feel like i remember it being exclusive to rwd models! i can’t remember though lol

The way I understood it was... if I have Sport S+, then I have AVS. All S+ does in the 350 models is tighten up the suspension further. In the 500, it's a bit different. Sport S and S+ are more different from each other, I think. But the suspension portion remains the same, where S+ has a firmer tune to the suspension.
Ah, that would explain it.

Looks like the struts are gonna be anywhere from low $200's to around $250 USD depending on where you look.
If I were in your situation, I wouldn't hesitate to just get the OEM struts - preferably branded by the OEM and not "Lexus genuine", which may save you a little money. Though I do love that box that the genuine parts are shipped in.
