Has anyone ran these tires on their IS? I can get a GREAT deal on them through USAA for my 21 IS350 but I do not know much about them. They are marketed as a Ultra High Performance All Season. I assume they cant be worse than the stock Bridgestone's that, in my opinion, are terrible tires. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

I had these on my GTI for a short while before I traded it. Compared to the Continental ControlContact Sport AS tires that it had before, the Goodyears were miles better. They felt firmer and sportier but also were quieter.
Do you have all-seasons on the IS or summer? Cause, I'll say the Goodyears may not be quite as nice as a summer tire when the temperatures are warm, but I'd honestly say that, if you're not looking for ultimate performance, they're a good choice.
Right now on it are the OE Bridgestone Potenza S001Ls summer tires. But they are terrible tires. Honestly, terrible. I’m not looking for super performance from this car but I would like a decent performance tire that won’t get my wife in trouble in the rain when she drives it. Continentals are 1 Tire I was looking at along with the Michelins. But the price I can get those Goodyears for is crazy low.

Well, I'll say the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on my car are a big upgrade over the OE Potenza tires, but I never found the OE set to be objectionable. They were so-so in terms of wet performance, and the Michelins are better, I'll give you that. I guess the Goodyears would also be better, hard to say without driving on them. I definitely enjoyed those tires on the GTI. But in GA, I think I would just run summers year-round and just not drive it in sub-freezing temps.

Well I ended up going with the Michelin Pilot Sport all season. Discount Tire gave me a good price today. Now I need to get my adjustable camber arms installed in the rear and the alignment next week and then these tires and hopefully they last me a while. Hopefully lol

How do you like them? I'm torn between them or the regular summer Pilot Sport 4S. I have a small trip coming up to Atlanta during the winter and I'm worried about using a summer tire in the cold. The car is driven 99% of the year in South Florida so the cold is generally never an issue. How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking?

I don’t have them on the car yet. They had to order them. Should be in end of next week. I got them for $1190 out the door. I think they are going to be good tires. I have never had any issues with any of the Michelin tires I have owned. I have never had the Pilot Sports before but I have never seen anything negative about them. I was concerned about putting an all season on the car but since my wife drives it quite a bit and here in New Mexico during the winter we do get moisture and snow occasionally. They had a different size tire in stock and they don’t look too “all season” if you know what I mean.

That's a great price! Was there a promo or did you just go in and ask for a discount? They are $1146 pre tax and installation on their website so you got a steal. I'm glad don't look too all season. I definitely want to be able to have the beautiful sidewall that the regular PS4S have. Keep us posted on how you like them!

I have bought a lot of tires from them the last couple years unfortunately lol But with that said, I was dealing with a guy that I have never dealt with before and I literally just kept on him a little bit like can’t you do any better that’s still pretty expensive. Can you do any better? I really wanna go to the Michelin‘s…….and he got down to that price and I said sold I’ll take them. 😹 it worked for me!

I'm running PS4S tires on mine in the ATL area. You'll be fine if it's not below 30 or snowing. Granted, I work from home, and the wife's car has all season tires, so I have another option... but most of the time I still drive mine in the winter.
Main thing to worry about in normal driving is braking. Just make sure you have plenty of room to slow down, and be safe! But I've heard good things about the Pilot Sport All-Season 4. They're probably not as grippy as the PS4S, but you have that peace of mind that they won't become hockey pucks in sub-freezing temps.
What don’t you like about the Bridgestones? I have them on my IS and don’t have a problem.
Personal preference I guess. I’ve owned ALOT of different tires and “summer” sport tires on a lot of different cars over the years and in my opinion these are the worst I’ve had. Ride quality primarily. But as they wore more they started tramlining really bad. I hate that. So they are gone this coming week.

Honestly, the ride quality with the PS4S is about the same as stock, fwiw. I think the Michelins are a bit louder on concrete or rough pavement as well.

That is not great news, but as long as they don’t pull me all over the road when the pavement is not exactly flat I will be fine with them.
I have the Michelin Pilot Sport all seasons on currently, definitely a great all-season tire but disappointed in the treadwear. I have had the front tires on for less than 20k miles and they are already down to the wear indicators (rears were put on a couple of months later could be part of the issue). Also, do drive them aggressively on back roads but nothing too serious.
Going forward probably will only use these as winter-type tires in the cold months and keep the summer tire version on the majority of the year especially if they wear this quickly.
