I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced this. Ever since the temps have dropped, I've been experiencing a rattle in the driver's side window. If I roll down the window even a little bit, the rattle goes away. I also can make it temporarily go away by putting firm outward pressure on the glass (which feels bad to do honestly). I've tried repeatedly cleaning and lubricating the door seal, so I am almost certain it's the glass or something the glass interacts with. Anyone else having this issue? It's actually pretty frustrating - the sound comes through even over moderately-loud music.
Also, I've noticed that on some drives, it doesn't happen until I hit a bump in the road, and then it occurs pretty constantly after that.

It’s actually interesting that you mention this. I think I’ve pinpointed a rattle to my passenger front window. I’m not sure much can be done. I know in BMW land they use this product to fix most of their rattles related to seals. I ordered it and have it on my desk but have yet to get around to applying it.

Nice. Best of luck. I've been using Shin-Etsu Silicone Grease which is used for pretty much the same thing. It worked well on my GTI for doors and the sunroof, no luck on the IS yet.
I think I have this rattle, but haven't been able to pinpoint the source. At some point I thought it was the product of a misaligned door and took it to the dealership. The sound I am experiencing is more of a ticking sound. Are you able to upload a recording of what you are hearing?

I tried, but it turned out horrible lol. It's almost inaudible. I'll try again tomorrow.
Update on this - I went a solid two days without rattles, and it seemed to come back yesterday. I feel like something is just loose enough that when I drive on a rougher road or hit a larger crack in the road, it gets triggered and starts going off. Then after the car is parked for a while without being driven, the noise goes away again. That's the pattern I am noticing anyway. I may try to get video today if I hear it while I am out.
I have not noticed this rattle on mine.....but now I am going to be really paying attention to see if I get one.
It's honestly no big deal, can be annoying if it crops up. Just now, I made it all the way to the park with no noise, but we'll see if I'll get back home noise-free.
edit: Nope, did not make it home noise-free. It came back. Definitely thinking it's something to do with rough roads that triggers it - which is, by the way, unacceptable on a 15k-mile car.

Have a '21 is300 AWD weather has been -1ish to -10 and noticed yesterday a slight rattle. Nothing a bit of music can't drown out but very annoying if silent.

Did you ever take it in to your dealership to try and fix? I literally have this rattle driving home my new IS 350 with less than 40 miles on it. I think that whatever holding the window in place is not tight enough. If I shake the driver side window back and forth when it's down it moves quite easily, but the passenger side door has less give when moving it back and forth.

Interesting. I never went to the dealer after all, as it was a pretty inconsistent noise. I haven't experienced this issue on my IS 500 yet, with just over 2100 miles.
My 2020 had a rattle at the bottom of the driver's side door window. It would surface after sitting in color weather, then strike when driven. Never lasted more than a few minutes, did not seem related to road imperfections, and wasn't too loud. I let it go. My 2023 doesn't have any rattles that I've discovered yet.
