Asked for "Ivan," but no Ivan was found to be working there. They gave me a case number, saying someone would call me back the next day after looking further into my question. One week later, no call back. Called a second time last week, asked for Ivan again, gave them my case number, and suddenly they had lost all my info. Gave it all over again, stated the case above, and they said someone would call me back. One week later, no call back. Just called again now and inquired a third time, and was told they have no info or bearing on the sale end of things- to contact my dealer. I told them I've already done all that, and the dealer is telling me there are no Grecian Waters to be had. I asked about digging deeper as to why they are advertising a color on their website, but not making it available for the entire model year. Just got apologies and said they'd forward my comments.
So... back to square one. I am thinking of talking to my dealer again to see if perhaps he can dig deeper or look into the future, since corporate keeps pointing me back to them. Probably going to get the same answer. Kinda frustrated, but not giving up yet.
If this goes nowhere, may go back to USB.
To be continued...
Sorry to hear the unfortunate news. What number did you call? I inquired about the 500, from the lexus.com website, if that helps any.

Keep trying to get as much info as possible, I'm sure Lexus will make more GW's at some point.

And where are you located in California? If you are located close to San Diego, you should try Lexus El Cajon or Escondido.

North Miami and Lubbock TX have them too...

Searching Cars.com yields 38 "Blue" IS350s in the US. Keeping in mind that also means USB. There are some out there, just have to decide how far you want to travel to get it.

Thanks both for the detailed info. I did use the main Lexus USA site. Same one you found Ivan at. I think at this point they use aliases instead of their real name. So that would explain why I could not track down your guy.

That's interesting, the few Grecian Waters out there are all in Texas and to the east. Nothing west of Texas. Still a pathetic production and distribution situation. I know nothing has reached west coast dealers within the last few months and likely all of 2023 thus far. I have been monitoring all of CA. for quite some time.

I did check out Lexus of Escondido... they have or will have two USB's. A few other closer dealers to L.A. will also have some. So it is possible to do USB. Will see how things go within the next few weeks. I still have until the end of May to make a decision. I can also extend my lease to buy more time.
