Default Open the hood and look bottom !

Hi guys I have a 2014 lexus is350 awd f sport
all stock 76k miles
just curious , when I open my hood and check engine bay area I can see thru all the way to the asphalt
I think there must be a cover underneath the car or am I missing? Or the underneath plastic cover is just below the radiator area?

Without a photo, I would have to guess that this is normal. Basically every car I've owned has had some sight line to the ground from the engine bay, though how much you can see will vary.
Do you have a photo?

I tried to take a pic but you can’t really see on the pic
you have to really move year head around to see the ground but some certain angles like i can see the axle boot of driver side
I thought the underneath of the car is completely covered before
guess its normal too see then
thank you

While the engine bay is covered underneath it's more around the perimeter, the area under the engine itself is open, so inevitably you will be able to see the ground in some spots from above.
It shouldn't be much and only in certain places...sounds like what you are seeing is normal.
