Has anyone had to replace the sunroof motor on their car? My 14' is350 has only 53k on it and i NEVER use the sunroof but today it was nice out so I decided to tilt the sun roof to the open position and it worked fine and smoothly but when i came out from work and tried to close it the switches just kept making a clicking noise. I then pulled down the light / map/ switch assembly and kept tapping the motor with the back of a screw driver while pressing one of the sunroof functions. This allowed the sunroof to move several times to the closed position but i think i may have lost the auto close/open function when i unplugged power to the sunroof motor because it only moves in small increments now. Anyway, whats the easiest way to remove this? Do i have to pull the headliner down or can i access it from the light assembly?
