Just installed the Illuminated Trunk Sill on my 2021 IS350. It shows "IS350" on the right side so maybe they'll come out with a IS300 and IS500 version in good time. Besides having illuminated "LEXUS" and "IS350", it comes with x2 corner white LED spotlights which does a great job of illuminating the trunk. Install was fairly easy, 3/10 difficulty scale.

Part Number PT9445321002. I bought it for $230 from Bell Lexus.

 

Tell me about that sub you have installed.

 

It’s a 10” Focal SUB10WM. I have 1030W @ 2 ohms going to it from the Mosconi Pro 5/30 amp. Up front I have Morel Elate Carbon 6.5” 3-ways with 90W to each tweeter, 180W to the midrange and 240W to the midbass, all @ 4ohms class AB from a Mosconi Pro 5/30 and 2/10. Mosconi 6to8 Aerospace DSP handles the OEM head unit signal as well as 24bit/96k streaming through Bluetooth (LDAC and APTX HD protocol) from a High Res Digital Audio Player.

 

Reading this, is like reading. another language! I'm trying to figure everything out but don't understand anything except for tweeter, streaming through bluetooth, and OEM head unit!

 

@Coconut Is it plug and play to install, or did you have to tap wires from somewhere?

That's cool seeing those lights in action. they offer it for my ES as well ($330-$340 shipped) but I was not sure as it's a bit more expensive but the lights may tip me in the right direction since I'm a sucker for lights.

 

Does anyone know if Part Number PT9445321002 will also work on the 2023 IS350? Guessing it will, but the local dealership said there was no part number listed for illuminated trunk sills for the 2023 IS350.

And if they will fit, can anyone recommend an online source? The local dealer wants $355. Thanks!

 

Confirmed Part Number PT9445321002 will fit a 2023 IS350, if anyone has the same question. And found an online dealer that is $65 less, and ships to my house.

 

My wife’s 23 IS350 has the trunk sill lights as a dealer installed add on.

Finally got my package today. I got it installed. Looks great. I'll try to post some after photos later on.

Couple of install notes:
- Purchased from Bell Lexus North Scottsdale. By far the best price, with free shipping. Took 1 week travel time, delivered via FedEx.
- Took me 2 hours
- A lot of that time was spent dealing with the clips and fishing the wire along the top of the trunk. This part was the worst, for me. I did not have wire fishing tape. I had to use some networking cable. Ended up working great.
- The three clips along the bottom are relatively easy to get out
- The 4 along the left side are easy as well, when you remember they're similar to the push pin clips. You just need a small flathead screwdriver to pop the top up, then pull it out.
- I did not disconnect the battery. I've done similar installs like this. When they're plug and play like this, there's really no need.
- All the additional light is great. I was completely unaware that the trunk even had a light. The light at the top is so dim, it's worthless.

 

Is it come with the two bottom lights two? Or just the Lexus and IS350 lights? Thanks

 

It comes with the two additional LEDs. They’re built into the trim piece, no additional wiring or anything to do.
