Default Trac Off

I have a 2016 Lexus is350 fsport and the Trac Off shows on my display. When I put car on Drive, the D shows for a second then disappears. Same when I try and put it on Manual Mode. Doesn’t show me what gears I’m on and doesn’t up or down shift. This is driving me crazy and I just want to figure out already.

Welcome to the forum

I don't recall anyone ever mentioning an issue like this before.
It does sound like you have some electrical issue occurring between the combination meter and the rest of the vehicle.

I would suggest getting the car scanned to see what codes may be present...and not engine or tranny codes, but rather codes for the system inside the vehicle.
By any chance does the car have any aftermarket accessories on it?

It’s completely stock. I have nothing aftermarket on it.
haven’t gotten it scanned though so I’m going to try that and see what codes I get.

Out of sheer irony I just took my IS out to drop off my kids and my TRAC OFF was on in the centre of the cluster, and my Check Engine light was also on.
I have 2 codes for the engine, which are caused when the breather hose on my Takeda intake pops off...it probably happens once to twice a year.
The port the hose attaches to is just a poor design on Takeda's part, so not a vehicle side issue.

Hose back on and codes cleared, we are good to go.

If your vehicle is driving normally it's very likely you have an emission related code.
