2015 is350 going past redline
Guys,im typically not a hooligan and for the most part drive like a grandpa. On occasion, I will do some spirited driving when no one is around and by my cabin. I was at a stop sign in auto, normal mode, with traction control on, and I floored it through the first 3 gears. I noticed that the needle on the tach went past the 6600 mark (start of redline) and the gears from 1-2 and 2-3 shifted at roughly 6800 or a tad more (so way into redline). I have never noticed this before. When I have watched 0-60 videos online, it always shows the is350 changing gears way before redline in auto mode. I never felt the rev limiter kick in, but I just thought it was weird that it allowed the car to shift into the red zone in auto. Anyone else have this happen? I tried submitting this thread already, but I cant find it so i apologize if its a repeat

If you put Manual and sport+ it's like that, even my previous 2011 IS350 did the same, you gotta play with for awhile till the computer learns your habbits. I like it this way, this is almost same as driving a Manual Honda Prelude in the 90s.
If you put in normal mode +eco in D the gear will shift normal, i have the same car as yours gen3 is350 Fsport.
