Installed SIR IUS LED RLS 7440 7440A Built in Resistor Anti Hyper flashing LED Bulb Turn Signal Light Amber Orange Color Full Aluminum Body Single Filament Error Free Pack of 2 (Rear) and LASFIT Canbus Ready 7443 led bulb 7444 Error Free 7444na Switchback for Front Turn Signal Dual Color Daytime Running(DRL) Parking Light Plug & Play ONLY for Standard Socket Amber/White (2 pcs) (Front) in September 2022. As of December 2023, my left rear turn signal has failed. Flashes twice normally and then turns off, then causing my front left to hyperflash since my rear is not flashing.

In general review after more than a year.. the turn signals begin to overheat regularly after having them on and sitting at a long red light for a while.. truly annoying. Haven't come upon the situation yet, but if I needed to have my emergency lights on for more than 2 mins, I bet they would stop working because of overheating. I believe specifically the rear ones are overheating. Currently looking for alternatives or any suggestions.

Use the SiriusLED I linked earlier. Been using it for two years on the IS without issue and 1.5 years on our Highlander without issue.

I use VLEDS ones
https://www.vleds.com/shop-applicati...it-a-7443.html
both front and rear on my 2023
they draw so much amps no need to add resistors and wouldn't trigger hyperflashing.

and because there's no resistors, there's no overheating issue. Your lastfit has built-in resistors and there's no way around it.

Thanks for the suggestions Lads. I mistyped on my initial post(corrected now) but my rear bulbs are actually the SIR IUS LED RLS 7440A. That is the one that failed, my front LASFIT 7443 are still working... before I saw any suggestions I went out and bought, AUXITO Led turn signal lights tail lights 7443 7440 T20 7440A -
Amazon Amazon
- Installed them on the rear with my LASFIT 7443's still in the front, no hyperflashing, and after some testing, stays flashing longer than the SIRIUS LEDs.

Will update if I see any difference.

They should be fine, I have the exact AUXITO on my highlander because the tight space doesn't allow me to do a full triton conversion. They will work in normal turn signal usage case without hyperflashing, but if you put on hazard for too long (more than 10 mins) might overheat them

This fits behind the taillight in the taillight cavity?

I agree. We have a 23 ES with led footwell lights and a 23 IS with normal footwell lights and I prefer the look of the IS footwells.

I just don’t get the fascination with LED accessory lighting. I like it for headlights and taillights and that’s it. Actually that’s a lie I liked the way HID Xenon headlamps looked the best. Had a TL and an LS with those and loved them although the new LEDs do light the road better.

I bought the same bulbs since someone SUPER early on in this post said they ran them for 10+ minutes straight with no issue. However, my right one went out after a little over a year which was weird since the right turn signal is used way less than the left (the turn light on my dash was hyperflashing and the bulb was actually super dim). Just hoping it was a bad batch since I ended up buying another set and decided to install them carefully and with gloves on this time. Approaching 9 months and hoping they don't ever become an issue again.

I've been a big promoter of the SiriusLED lights up until now but I had two of them fail on both of my cars this past week. The driver's side went out on my IS and on my Highlander and I had to replace them this weekend. They didn't die, as in stop blinking altogether, but some of the LED modules stopped working and it started hyperflashing unfortunately. Just be careful.

I agree, but they have quality product.

I had one set of vled bulbs, but i think they were given to me or part of some package. Luckily i didnt have to shell out the money for just bulbs.

True, you got to pay to play. The age old statement fast, cheap, reliable. Pick 2

And you were lucky to inherit it.
