Default replacement shocks for lowered 3is

those of you with RSR springs only, non-coilover .... what replacement SHOCKS have you all gone with?

my 2016 only has about 42k miles .... had RSR DOWNS(LCAs and rear camber arms) on for about 2 months. . . 200miles-ish.

this is more of a proactive upgrade vs something that is "wrong" or happening with the car now. just got an alignment and the tech mentioned that my rear shocks are soft.

I have a 2015 IS350 F-Sport RWD (also with RSR Down at all corners) and I have the same question too. I was told F-Sport Performance Shocks would fit but I am not sure. I am hoping people who had used it before can confirm; see P/N(s) below:
PTR13-53093 (Right front)
PTR13-53094 (Left front)
PTR13-53140 (Rear)

AFAIK there's no aftermarket replacement shocks for the 3IS, and if there are, none made to work with anything lower than the F Sport or Tein H techs which are a Professional/Adult 1" drop (no more.) anything lower is typically out of the comfortable oscillation range of stock dampers and will usually overwork and overheat them quick, toasting them.

This and several other reasons beyond the scope of this discussion (and I do mean several) are why one should not go lower than the Blue F Sport springs which are 1"

Unless a company like Bilstein comes out w/ sport dampers meant for lowering applications (they make them all day long for the euro crowd) i wouldn't go beyond 1".

You could get new F Sport shocks and they'd last a little while but probably lose optimum performance around 20k. don't be shocked (hah)

(lots of suspension building, damper rebuilding experience here)

RSR downs (not super downs), are a 1" drop

Subscribed to this thread as I will likely need to replace mine at some point (rsr downs on OEM shocks, so far so good)

I speed a lot (hate to admit) but when I come on a road with a 'hilly' surface, not bumps, my car feels like it's bouncing lol, feels almost unstable but besides that it's good

Wait, so is an F Sport lower than a non-F Sport?
Also, if you do have an F Sport, that's about as low as you can comfortably go?

Pretty sure it's the same height but F Sport owners have the Sport + which tightens your suspension.

They have Super down springs which go lower but I was basically rubbing on RSR down w/ 25mm spacers and after my alignment I've been good. I feel like any lower, I'm 100% rubbing which I do not want.. so you can go lower but for me, it's too much if I want flush fitment on my OEM wheels

I've paired the f-sport bilstiens with swift springs - it's a great combo. it mutes much of the road imperfections while providing confident placement. also for me, going to a tire that is designed for the wheel eliminated most of the "bouncy" feeling over humps
