Quick question: Will condensation in DRL create an electrical problem or trip a code on my 2014 IS350? Replacement cost for the DRL is >$500, plus labor. Have tried to seal it with silicone all around the gasket when bumper was removed to put new one on, but still condensation appears.

Thanks for any help.
I believe there was a TSB about this. A plastic tab breaks on the headlight housing allowing moisture in. Search the forum I’ve seen a few threads on it.

I'm wondering if the moisture will damage the internal electronics or if they are sealed also so that moisture doesn't affect them?

That's for the headlight...I believe the OP is referring to the cat eye DRL under the headlight.

If moisture is getting into the DRL then anything inside is fair game for corrosion. I don't believe there is a secondary seal for the board/LEDs inside.
