Pop / clunk noise when making a left turn
Wanna ask about replacing sway bar bushing:
1) Can i drive the car up a ramp and change it or does it need to be on jack stands and with wheels hanging so as not to apply pressure on the sway bar?
2) Is it very difficult to change the front and rear sway bar bushings? I recently changed the stabilizer links and it was a simple enough job without any need for special tools.
3) Anything i need to know to make the replacement easier or anything I should change since I'm on it.
Thanks a bunch.

Bumping to see if anyone has any insight on this.
My 23 thumped and grinded when making a left while accelerating into traffic once a few months after buying it… now everytime I get on it while making a left, I feel a thud in the driver footwell, no grinding, just a thump.
Took it for the 10k today and they said that the left turn thump is normal for the IS and that there is nothing to repair or replace.

FWIW I've only ever had clunks like this while parking, and they've only happened a handful of times in almost 1.5 years of ownership...
I had this on a different car when cranking the wheel to the right and going in reverse. It turned out to be a misaligned front underbody panel. Dealer fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalled it and it was gone.
I have this on my '20 350 RWD with only 30,000 miles. Did a bolt check and everything is tight. Seems early for a bad ball joint or tie rod end but who knows. I do have the Dorman LCA bushings because of the higher durometer than stock.
I only hear it on cold when turning to the left just a degree when starting the car. After that I do not hear it.
