since the IS has such a sharp turn radius...its most likely your tires screeching against the pavement. I hear it sometimes when the parking lot has a smooth surface.

Such a screeching noise often occurs on epoxied (sealed-over, smooth and slippery) concrete. This is common with parking garage surfaces. If it's doing it on regular concrete (not sealed) or asphalt, you could be hearing a skidding of rubber sound. If niether of those, last thing to check would be low power steering fluid. A lot of screeching can come from that but I'd be shocked if your fluid was low and no warning light was going off.
So im guessing the AWD model is even more prone to screeches since the turning radius is greater than the average IS model? even at very low speeds i hear my tires screeching and i thought its the car the whole entire time. Can anyone else give some feedback?

Mine has no power steering fluid at all!
I suspect it's due to the ISx50 not having a power steering pump
This car turns so well, I was following an Altima around and every time we took a wrong turn, the Altima always had to do a K turn whereas I just need to do a full lock and do it in one go
