2016 IS300 Lexus I unplugged the camshaft position sensor on driver side by oil cap and the wires came out of the connector I need to know what order the wires go back in the connector I have three wires one light gray one white and one purple
That's not good. You're going to need to reattach the wires to the terminals.
The easiest thing to do now is get 3 new terminals which will come with wire on them...you can then join them to the existing wire with solder and heat shrink.
If you do need to replace the terminals, the part number is 82998-74030.
You'd need 3 in total. The wire is 1.6mm thick, so heat shrink for that size would be good.
I have the exact same problem with my 2018 IS350 but the wires for this year are Blue, Red and Black. Does anybody have a photo of the order these wires going into the connector?
Ken Wires got pulled out of their connector during a spark plug change. Bought a new pigtail connector. Just no idea what order they go in.
