Installing lexus led puddle lights!

 

Just to clarify, the puddle light is actually the light under the side mirror that he points out at the beginning of the video.
The light he is replacing is the Door Courtesy Light...when you think about it, if you're waiting for the light inside the door to illuminate the puddle after you opened the door, then you're already standing in the puddle.
A little nervous when he busted out the multi tool, but it looked like it went ok.

I didn't realize they were adjustable as to where the light shines, nice touch.

 

I wish I still had puddle lights. The new 2021 IS 350 fsport I got doesn't come with them anymore. Weird.

 

Really? What do you think about the 2021 IS so far? I think they are so nice!

 

Yes definitely nicer looking. That's why I got rid of my 2020. It looked so outdated. Plus since I wanted an fsport I had no choice but to get a 350 model, since they don't make 300 fsports in the USA. The V6 is really nice sounding. Just don't like the fact insurance went up fifty bucks per month because of it. Oh well...

 

Yeah I'd go with the f-sport too. $50 more a month is not cool though. 😮

I wasn't aware they were adjustable either, i'll have a look at my F Sport version in the spring.

 

The mustang I used to have had a pony... the Lexus L is much classier. Kind of made it hard to see puddles to be honest though.

 

Are these puddle lights compatible with 2021+ IS models? I haven't seen anyone with a 2021+ IS install these.
