First, the HVAC system doesn't have 9 servo motors, so I'm not quite sure where they got that number from.
Secondly, are you having an issue with the HAVC system?
And last, did you ask them to inquire about the recall that is currently rolling out? As this would cover the repair at no cost to you.
To be more specific with servo motors which i am talking about is attached in the image
They are saying i have nine in my model. They control cold and hot air flow
I have many places about roll out
Can you give me a link or attachment which i can print and show to dealer as they have not mentioned anything about it
I have completed 80K service at the dealer and they have informed me that 3 motors out of the 9 are found faulty and need to be replaced.
My Warranty expired 30-MAY-2021
they asked for a huge price and since it's a common issue I need someone to tell me what to do?
Details:
Middle East - United Arab Emirates
Car Model is IS 350 F 2017

I had all of mine (7 if I am not mistaken) swapped with the revised parts at an independent shop. It is expensive but fixes the issue. The dealer here does not acknowledge it as a recall, and they wouldn't replace them at no cost.

Are you the first owner?
are doing the 10K at deal all the time?
are you recognized as good customer relationship with the dealer?
I think those key factors for convincing them to replace if LEXUS word wide admitted the issues with their servo motors.

Please, let me know
Yes I am the first owner. Yes I service my vehicle according to manufacturer's maintenance schedule, just not at the dealer. It should not matter if I service the vehicle with them or not. A recall is a recall.

I've attached two documents I managed to find in regards to the recall.
It looks like it first started as a bulletin, and then became part of the warranty enhancement program...basically if the customer has the complaint they can get it fixed outside of the regular warranty period, if the car is out of warranty.
Happy reading...keeping in mind that these documents are for the Canadian market only...other markets, like the US will have their own equivalent documents.
My AC on occasion (like once every 4 months) will increase from say 70 degrees up to max high temp, all without me touching anything, completely on its own. Would this be a fault with the servo motor, or would this be a completely different issue not covered by Lexus?

I have approached the dealer in my region yesterday and requested them to look into how the US and Canada region have extended warranty enhancements on servo motors. They have not accepted the same to be applied in United Arab Emirates where I live as the LEXUS corp has not passed the information and instruction to do.
and they left with no choice but to pay to replace the parts.

It doesn't sound like the typical servo motor issue.
Usual complaints is that the temp is set to cold, and you're getting heat...but the display number stays on what you set it.
Or, you get cold on one side and heat on the other of the dual zone climate control, but you want cold on both sides.
And the other common complaint is the air flow is stuck in the one position and you can't change it to another...example, it's stuck on Defrost blowing on the windshield, and when you change it to Face, it still blows on the windshield.
If the temp on the display is randomly climbing to max on its own, then the first thing I would look at is those touch strips for the temp on the sides. Or the temp up/down button.

how can i contact LEXUS corp about the same.
I would start with contacting the Lexus Head Office for your region.
I'm not exactly sure where it is, but I think it's located in Dubai, +971 4 522 3053
Speak to a Customer Service representative about your issue.
Is this only affected when using air conditioning? My car sometimes blow hot air for no reason after a drive but it’s not in A/C mode. I made an appointment with dealer but I’d rather not go if this isn’t same issue, dealer service is so slow even changing oil takes like 2 hrs.
I would suggest everyone reading the docs attached to post #21...they describe what the condition are, therefore what Lexus would cover as a warranty repair.
I stopped by the dealer SA went through running AC full blast and checked on the spot said no issue. If there was an issue you will feel warm air even when AC is set to low temp. It only affects when AC is set to on. Lexus sent out these letters to everyone very few got affected.
Been having this issue intermittently for the past 3 years (usually after changing temp to heat after a long summer). One side would blow hot and the other ice cold. Went into A/C diagnostic mode (holding auto + recirc when turning ignition on) and the system was throwing 6 codes - 41, 42, 43, 46, 54, 55.
Took mine in to the dealer, got my system reprogrammed and a new A/C servo dampener. $1,500 job covered under CPO warranty & this customer support program. Whew!
