Default Hitting Curbs, Rim Damage, and back bumper damage

I admit I'm not the best driver. I have substantial damage done to my rims hitting curbs. I also have damage done to my back bumper. I used my back up camera but there was a huge glare and I couldnt see. Hence hitting the back bumper. One of the lights is cracked also. Would it be prudent to pay for a package that for a fee a thousand or whatever for 5 years, if there is damage to the rims, they get fixed. I couldnt find a package like that for the back bumper. The package of $1300 was only for fixing rims. The guy said each rim to fix costs a $1000 but I feel he was not being completely truthful. I think its closer to $400-$500 for a rim. Have any of you purchased the package. Is there a package that would fix bumpers?

Post pics of your damages.. guy is 1000% full of bull. I slammed 2 of my rims going over a curb like divider on the highway at 70-80mph and got both rims fixed for curb rash for $125 ea here in Jersey. The dealership also fixes wheels (they use a 3rd party) for $125-150 per rim. Back bumper you could get off eBay (maybe even painted too). Go to a cheap body shop and have them fix your bumper up.

No, do not pay for that $1300 package, it's not worth it.

Curb rash from a local guy here in the KCMO area is also $125 per wheel. I don't think it's worth it to pay a $1000 package for just curb rash.

Your feeling about the wheels is correct. Run...

I had some curb rash before, and cost me $75 a wheel to fix. You're being taken advantage of.

He / she sees the fact you've been prone to hitting things with your vehicle - that makes you a "money pit".

Walk. Don't give that person your business.

Drive carefully and hope things work out.
