Aftermarket IS200t Parts?
Has anyone seen any aftermarket 200t parts out on the web or anywhere? Like intakes, exhaust, etc. anything helps. Looking to spice up my 200t a little.

You can custom make exhaust and intake but you won't get any noticable gain unless you get a retune. Which would be nearly impossible with the how sophisticated the stock IS200t ECU will be. Might have to get an aftermarket ECU but that will take a long time to develop a plug and play one. As for BOV, you can switch that anytime you want but if you want to vent it to atmosphere to get the cool BOV sound, you will probably have to run it with Speed Density or it'll probably run like ****. Also that will need a retune with an aftermarket ECU. Either way, you are going to have to wait a while for aftermarket parts made for the IS200t.

I just got my Burger tuning intake in and the fitment and support bracket is perfect. Perfect fitment with the maf adaptor too but its a little to loud for my taste . Going to wait for the F sport intake to come out for the 200t. Pm if anyone wants to buy it. Literally has less than 10 miles on it. Asking $130 shipped.

I would hold on buying it.
It is better to get an intake with new larger pipe to get the benefit of allowing more air to the turbo. Currently there are exhaust systems, so get one until a proper intake is out.

Okay, I'm prob gonna do that then. If you ever do find out if they've released a cold air intake for the 200t thats worth it then please inform me. I'll try to find some too.

More air in and but the same amount of fuel for a turbo car........that is a recipe for disaster. You better a AFR gauge to monitor that. You are going to blow your motor when the car leans out.

Your logic is saying that if I decide to increase the boost by 4lbs of 20lbs on an IS200t, the car will self tune and I'm in the clear? Really, that isn't true, most turbo charged cars are pre-tuned to run rich to be safe. Unless someone ran the IS200t on the dyno to see what the stock AFR is, we don't know if it's actually running rich yet. If you are willing to pay 40k+ for a turbo charge car....get an AFR gauge and a boost gauge (one of the most important mods you can do).

The ECU should adjust the mapping for the extra "cooler air".

Question to anyone: The coilovers from 2014-2015 Lexus' should work for the 2016 Lexus IS 200t, correct? Since the only notable change on the 2016 was mainly the engine... (and weight). So I don't see why the 2014-2015 coils wouldn't work, but I wanted to make sure.

Btw check the forums related to the ISF ECUs tuning, as many say it can tune it self.

Former Sponsor
The springs are the same on the IS200t as the IS250/IS350. Coilovers from the IS250/IS350 would fit, but they might not handle properly as the dampeners are a little different. RSR offers coilovers for the IS200t already.

Okay, sounds good. I was thinking of getting the rs-r springs for now.
