There seem to be numerous errors in 2021 IS 350 Owners Manual OM53E98U. Specifically, I wanted to add an additional set of wheels with new tire pressure sensors. This requires registering the new ID codes. Per OM53E98U, Page 310, you simple push the tire pressure warning reset switch 3 times quickly, and follow the drive procedure. Unfortunately, this switch does not appear to be available in my vehicle. A similar issue exists as to the procedure for initializing alternate tire pressures on Page 309. Would anybody be able to clarify how these procedures can be accomplished on the 2021 model, without having to visit a Lexus dealer?
From the line art drawing it appears the TPMS button is to the right of the hood latch release lever.
Since the TPMS is not optional, every vehicle has it, including the button.
However, I suspect the button if not in the exact position the drawing shows...the drawing looks like the button is facing the driver...I suspect the button is actually under the edge of the dash where it is not visible when you're sitting in the driver's seat.
I would suspect looking just under the edge of the dash and the button is likely there.
Thank you Sasnuke, I appreciate your knowledge of these vehicles. With a light, I was able to locate the switch hidden under the dash, in front of the brake pedal.
