Stop calling the dealer "Lexus." They are not the manufacturer. People glorify dealers way too much. Think of them like a subway franchise.

Call Lexus (actual corporate) to see if you can get a repair approved.

It wouldn't have made a difference either way to the Body ECU as the OBD fuse only powers the OBD II port.
If the dashcam was unplugged and then reconnected and something happened at that moment it was plugged in, then the fuse should have blown.

heres the kicker, NONE of the fuses were blown in the junction box. I checked myself. only the internal fuse in the ECU is the issue supposedly

There is no internal fuse in the Body ECU...the fuses you see are the fuses that are there. All are external and replaceable .

On the phone with corporate right now, will update with their verdict.

his first response was "they wouldnt cover it under warranty?"

I just find it remarkable that so much was "fried" within 2 hours

Which fuses did you remove?

For example, if the navigation in on all the time, removing the 15A Radio fuse will turn it off. The radio is really the navigation...the display is just that, a display.
The 15A Radio will shut down the radio and display.

I didnt have the diagram on me but i just unplugged the two fuses the dash cam was installed on
nothing changed.

Just got off the phone with corporate. He said the dealership didnt put anything on my service record about the issues im having and they definitely didnt put anything to indicate that my warranty is voided

he escalated it and i have a case rep calling me tomorrow

Thank you all for the help, seriously dont know what i would do without this forum

To confirm you had mentioned the dashcam was connected to the OBD fuse...what's the other fuse it's connected to?
I don't have a dashcam, but it seems odd that it's connected to two fuses. My question would be why?
Maybe one is a Battery powered fuse and the other Ignition powered, but that seems like a waste of a connection...Battery power will power it all the time, making the ignition fuse redundant...unless the camera has some rechargeable battery in it.

I know one is the ACC fuse, the other one might be obd fuse for power
The camera does have its own battery

I know moving forward, ill just keep a battery pack and charge that every couple of days

The OBD fuse is ignition switched power...so basically it's only live when the the Ignition or vehicle are on.

If the other fuse was the 7.5A ECU-ACC fuse, that one is Battery powered, so it's live all the time.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, this would not have been my first choice for a fuse to tap into...it wouldn't have been my second or third choice even.
The ECU-ACC fuse feeds the ACC relay (which is internal to the Body ECU junction block), which powers a number of items as well as a power feed directly into the Body ECU.
If this is were the damage stems from, removing the fuse won't do anything, the damage may already have been done and be permanent.

I'm not saying the dashcam caused the issue, but with this new information it's now looking like a real possibility.
