Default proper sitting issue after upgrading to RCF Bushings

question: Do we have a nut on the top side like the 2IS in this video at 15:28 mark?:

both these pictures show a nut but i could not find:

i wanted to post my experience for fellow AWD Members:

the problem i ran into was one of the bolts would not fully go back up and i felt like i would end up stripping it. For the time being, i found washers at Ace Hardware i then torqued to spec. The bolt did have some rust on it so i am planning on swapping them out eventually.

To swap the Bushing on AWD is much easier than RWD but i would look out for this possible problem...the video i found most helpful, its for RWD and RR Racing but the video was super helpful:

i added 7 washers stacked and drove it around gently...rechecked and got it down to 5 washers each side but it could be bolt or if i am missing something, any info is much appreciated:

Ran into the same issue with my AWD.
The bolt went in to a certain point and pretty much stopped, like if I had crossthreaded it (and I did not).
After working back and forth several times by hand, and losing daylight in the process, I picked up the impact gun and drove the bolt in.
It was a little leap of faith cause I new either the captive nut would spin or the bolt would tighten...thankfully (maybe a little to God above), the latter happened.
Needless to say they won't be coming out any time soon.

Ok, this is good to hear, as I assumed I had cross-threaded mine, due to how hard it was to get in (think I pulled several muscles on that sucker, even using a pipe to give me more leverage on the socket driver).

Can pretty much guarantee you that you did not cross thread it. I had taken my bolt out to see wtf was up with it, and the bolt was perfectly fine.
You can't cross thread the nut and not have the bolt damaged.

lol...for reals, i took a break to ACE Hardware and due to a helpful rep. found the washers that sit perfectly because i knew i was going to be torquing that bolt

due to its size, its usually easier to cross-thread the other way around from my experience

i.e. Discount Tire did it to 2 of my wheel studs but they are always super awesome, sent me a voucher to get it replaced for free
