Default HELP! JDMTOY Foglight Install

Has anyone installed JDMTOY fog Light and can please help me!

Has anyone installed JDMTOY fog lights and can please help me. I installed and wired these foglight per instructions and am still getting no light. I wired the red wire from the fog light to the middle wire on the harness, and the black from the fog to the striped on the harness.

I was following that video too, but they do not explain how to wire it they just quickly time lapsed it. I followed a thread online and they said red goes to middle and black goes to striped. But I’m not getting any power

12 mins into the video, you just need to t-tap into the wires not cut off as your pic shows.

originally I t-tap the wires, but it wasn’t working so i hardwired then instead (just to make sure that it wasn’t because the t-tap had a bad connection)

sounds like you could use a voltmeter. good investment

also don't chop your stock wires. try to tap if at all possible that way you can reverse cleanly if needed.

im going to try that tomorrow. Could it be a fuse box thing? Does the 3rd gen IS come with a fuse for the front fog lights even though they do not come with the lights?

Step 1. reconnect the wires. You've basically severed the Power to the DRL and Fog lights when you cut the middle Black wire and the Ground by cutting the White/Black wire.
Step 2. Tap the Fog light wires on like you did before
Step 3. Turn on Taillights...the Fogs should be one...if not, check the 15A Tail Fuse under the dash

The wires that were cut on the vehicle harness. Reconnect the Black wire on the connector back to the Black wire on the vehicle harness...and do the same for the White wire with the Black stripe.
It should now look the way it was from when you first started. Then tap the appropriate Fog light wire onto the one on the vehicle harness...in this case Red fog wire to Black vehicle wire and Black fog wire to White/Black vehicle wire.
In this configuration the fogs will only come on when the Taillights are on.

So how would I wire the Red fog wire onto the vehicle harness if I reconnect the existing wires back to their original state? A friend reached out to me on instagram and said i needed a specific 3 way T tap that connects to the existing harness wire perpendicularly.

There are T Taps that connect the fog light wire to the vehicle harness either perpendicular or in parallel. They are used to avoid cutting the harness...unfortunately that ship has sailed.
At this point I would solder the wires together and very carefully tape them up so it's sealed against the elements as best as possible...thats assuming you have a soldering iron.
