With my 2018 IS300 AWD (F-Sport 2 package) I have lately ran into an issue where the media player gets stuck within an MP3 folder (it cannot exit the folder to move onto the next folder with MP3 tracks) and the folder it gets stuck in is random, power cycling the car does not help. I have to wait a while (15min+ before I can play any other MP3 files outside of that folder again), Has anyone run into this issue?, I doubt the dealer will do anything about it other than blame my USB stick which has no issues, I even reformatted it. (FAT32)

 

Does this occur on any folders within your USB? If it is the same folder, maybe one of the files is corrupt/the Lexus system doesn't like it. Also, just to be absolutely sure, I would try a different USB stick as well.

 

The folder it gets stuck on is completely random, wait long enough and the glitch goes away but you get sick of replaying the same songs for so long.
