Default replace fuse for black navigation display?

Hi - my navigation display went black when my battery died, and now it won't turn back on. I've tried resetting by holding down the audio power button, but no luck. Any other advice? I'd like to check the fuse but can't figure out which fuse to check, is there a map of the fuse boxes online somewhere? Thank you.

Did you unplugged battery for 10 min and see if it comes back on?

I had the battery replaced. It went black when the old battery died, then when I jump started the car (with the old battery) and everything else came back to life, the screen was black (no back up camera, no nav display, etc.) I had the battery replaced with a new one, and everything else works, but the screen remained black. So in effect, yes the battery was unplugged and put back in again. Do I need to do that again?

Some earlier posts suggested checking the fuse, but I can't decode the fuse box guide so I have no idea which fuse to check.

Try disconnecting the battery again for a minimum of 10 minutes.
If that doesn't work, then you are looking at a radio head unit.
The screen is fused through the radio, so the screen itself doesn't have a fuse.

Unfortunately as your vehicle is a 2014, the likely cause is the radio head unit.

Sorry to hijack your thread but I’m curious if radio HU failed can I hook up after market CarPlay unit like 4x4 android screen it still won’t work right? Even though climate control works I won’t have any joystick control to after market system. If mine breaks I don’t think I want to spend $2k just for crappy system I rarely use.

Dojoman and Sasnuke, THANKS! I disconnected the battery, waited a while, and reconnected - that solved the problem. Much appreciated!

Glad it works out. Sometime just a reset to the system brings it back to life. I wonder how many people didn’t do this and end up getting a new headunit.
