Default Help removing the drivers lower dash panels

I bought the 12v.solutions remote starter and it requires the removal of the the knee panels under the steering wheel to gain access to the wiring. How do you remove the lower steering column cover. I remove the screw but could not get it to split from the top cover.

is the BCM unit located along the side kick panel? Is there a diy on this? I searched here and google and found only partial videos that get me half way there.

The steering column covers have 2 screws behind the steering wheel.
From center turn the steering wheel 90 degrees either way and remove the first screw, then 180 degrees and remove the other screw.

The Main Body ECU (BCM) is located right above the fuses in the lower kickpanel.
Basically the Body ECU is part of that entire assembly.
