So I replaced my analog gauge cluster with the f-sport cluster on my base model today. Everything worked great until at night I noticed none of the interior illumination lights on the center console/ gear shift or clock would light up. The navigation/radio works, and all the buttons work fine and even the lights showing that the a/c or defroster are on light up but not the backlights. I checked the 7.5a Panel fuse and it was not blown. Has anyone experienced this issue and knows how I can fix it?
As you can see the engine start/stop illuminates, as well as the steering controls and odo/trip but nothing else. The dimmer works but only dims the cluster and none of the other backlights turn on. The clock light, center console lights and gear shift lights all are not working

Reason: typo
While all the clusters are physically the same for the plugins at the back, not all the wires are in the same location for every year.
So it's possible there can be some operational anomalies if the incorrect year F Sport cluster is plugged into a non-F Sport vehicle.
Do you know the part number of the cluster you installed in your 2014 IS250 AWD? Or even what year/model the F Sport cluster came from?
It might be a simple fix...or not.

Have you found the solution to this problem? Thank you
Did you find the source of this problem as my car does the exact same thing.

Please post your cluster part number and car year and model?
I noticed certain cluster model work on certain model year IS only
Did anyone find an answer ? Is there any specific control module that controls this center illuminate lights ?
I have the same problem, when I turn the dimmer switch, clock light flashes. But nothing comes on.
Check your fuses under the streeing wheel and by any chance did you install sequential turn signals?

Thank you, I will check the fuses.
No , but i had someone to install ambient lighting to the doors. I actually took the vehicle to an electrician and he said there is a control module that regulates those lights which has probably gone bad . He will send me the name of the module tomorrow and I will update here . Thank you again!
I found in a different thread that this could be a loose wire one of the plugs behind the cluster. I’m not good at these things so I will have the mechanic to check that. I will update if it works 😊
