Where to connect Rexing V1 Dashcam using Smart Hardwire Kit
Good afternoon everyone, I just purchased a 2017 IS300 F-sport and I wanted to add a dashcam. I purchased the Rexing V1 with the Smart Hardwire kit. I located the fuse box under the steeringwheele but where can I connect the two connecters the smart hardwire kit comes with? Has anyone used this and if so any pictures? I do not have a multimeter with me and figured I give this a shot first.
Below is the Smart Hardwire kit which have the #15 on it. I am assuming I take out the fuze already in the box and replace it with this one. Now my question is which exactly to use? The red wire fuse needs to be connected to a "switched fuse" which only turns on when the car turns on, and the yellow wired fuse needs to connect to a "hot" fuse that is always on. Any information would be greatly appreciated. the two fuses (red & Yellow) have the #15 on the top.
I believe on my setup I used ignition for switched power and for constant power I tapped into the hazards.
"HAZ" I'm guessing is for Hazzards which can turn on even when car is off... So that's my constant. And "P/Outlet" I'm guessing is the power outlet in glove box which only works when the power is turned on so that's my switched fuse? The two fuses on the Smart Hardwire kit both are 15A so I'm assuming they can only connect to fuses that are 15A?

This is the same setup we have on the IS, and it's paired to the Rexing V1P.
The little nub that sticks out was pointed towards the wall of the fuse box. I finagled it to where it bent where I could still close the fuse box without 'damaging' anything inside.
It's doable, otherwise you may need to run it with the fuse box cover off - which isn't the worst thing in the world but I am sure it's quite annoying.
Edit: I'll be happy to take a pic for you guys, I just have to wait until the lady is home as she's out and about - her car (lol).
