I agree less is more but that's not too intrusive on the existing design.
The picture looks OK on a white car.

I'd make sure your reflectors are still functional, those are important.

i once had a one of a kind custom made Carbon Fiber 3rd brake light cover back in the 90s...i ended up selling it quickly after looking at stats showing how much more beneficial the implementation of a 3rd Brake Light was for Rear End accidents

the Reflectors also help even if they are not lit...i wouldn't get rid of those like suggested....maybe just black them out with vinyl?

I have a 2015 350 in Atomic Silver.
so far cosmetically I’ve done...
20% tint all the way around.
blacked out front and rear emblems.
blacked out shark fin antenna on roof.

Car looks alot better just with those few tiny little things. Just looks sharper. The stock Fake chrome emblems look like crap imo. And non tinted windows just look awkward.

Im thinking of maybe doing a gloss black vinyl roof but I’m still undecided. I also want to get the factory trunk spoiler as mine didn’t come with it.

i am actually saving up to get my Tint removed but hey, thats what makes Cars fun...you make it your own

hope this may give you another option, i ran across an interesting video about Chameleon paint/vinyl:

if you are going to stick with Grey + Black accents....you should look into VANTA BLACK:
