Short Ram/Cold Air Intake Recommendation
What up guys!
Long time lurker on the forums and huge fan of the community within ClubLexus!
Background information about me -- I live in Cali, previous car was a 2005 Acura RSX Type S and now a proud owner of a 2017 Lexus IS200t F Sport as my daily driver.
I'm starting to look at an intake for my car, but was hoping I get some opinions from the forum first. It looks like the top 3 intakes for our car are:
- AEM
- Injen
- HPS
To be honest, the biggest reason I'm looking at an intake is the little tuner inside of me wants to hear that BOV roar. However, I don't want something suuuuuper loud and obnoxious -- but rather a low profile one. My car currently is bone stock, with the exception of tints and I like the OEM+ look. What are your opinion between the 3? and if there are any other recommendations I didn't list!

Intakes, Intakes, Intakes...whats best? please chim in any advice, tips -lots of pics
It gets old after two stop lights. I'd vote save your money. Also the sound is not what you think since the excess pressure isn't vented to the atmosphere, but recirculated. It's more of an annoying whistle that permeates the cabin. So not at all what you think. I remember some tuner guyz even saying it was too loud and obnoxious for them.. for them.

i like the Sound...old car was redonkulous
loud - CAI, Dual Exhaust, PCD's, J Pipe, etc etc.
i like how i only hear it when i step on it or above 4k RPM
plus if your ever next to another 3IS, you are just a tad bit better
hope this helps your Cause!

I do hear people saying that its way too loud that's why I was a bit hesitant.
