Default Scuff And Soil...Which Rubbing Compound

What do you all use to get rid of scuffs or the rough built-up of dirt/grime on the lower parts of the vehicle without damaging your paint job? I'm assuming a rubbing compound of some sort but does anyone have a particular favorite brand?

I don't have any advice for the "scuff" but for the rough built-up of dirt/grime, a clay bar will remove lots of contaminants on the paint and will make the wax afterward do a great job on restoring its shine I use Mother's

Wash the car very good before using the clay bar, sometimes tar that is stubborn requires other things. You can also use Iron Decontamination or Fallout Remover as well.

Perfect. I'll add both of these on Amazon as well. It's mostly that tar buildup on the back fenders and with it being a white car it really looks terrible.

Yeah, white cars are hard to maintain. Meguiar's Professional Series Clay is one of the best, the consumer stuff isn't as good. If you have a foam cannon or something to spray soap on the car you can use that as lube for the clay as well which saves you on clay lube.

I think I'll start with that and try it next week. I bought a simple Turtle Wax compound and it made some progress, but not enough.
