I found an oil stain. What's the cause? And hunting alpiem. Do you have a similar experience when you stop D gear ..

looks like blow by. could have an aging gasket. i wouldn't worry too much.

Agreed with E46CT... just looks like blowby. I have a similar type of build up on my 200t's intake vacuum hose connector. Noticed it around 45k, and now I'm at 55k very spirited miles, still going strong. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
