Default Threw a Code. P013A.

2015 350. Code P013A came up 5 min after I got my oil changed and filled up with Esso 91 octane.
That code is bank 1 sensor 2 slow response.
Kinda surprised it happened after oil change and a fill up. Just a coincidence?
I cleared it and I’ll see if it pops up tomorrow.
if not is it just a sensor?
I have the Lexus extended platinum warranty, will I finally get to use it?

Might just be coincidence. Maybe just check your oil level to make sure it's not overfilled.

Thanks for the reply. Going to check oil level first thing in morning. Gonna reset ecu also. If it comes back can I continue to drive it until I get it to the dealer? No harm if i drive with it like that for 2 days?

You can continue to drive it. When the code trips the ECU just uses a predetermined programmed value for the Bank 1 rear O2.
The fuel mileage won't be as great, but you may not notice that until an entire tank of gas is used up.
You'd be good to go for a couple days for sure.

You can reset the ECY by disconnecting the battery, but if you have an OBD II reader that shows you monitor readiness, clear the code and drive it til the O2 monitor passes...if it fails the light will come on right away.

Thanks again for all the info. If it does come back what is the name of the sensor that has to be replaced? Is it an o2?

It would be an Oxygen Sensor...commonly referred to as the O2 sensor.
It would be the one after the catalytic converter on Bank 1.
The one before the cat is an Air Fuel Ratio sensor.

Thanks for the info. I checked oil level, it’s kind of hard to read the dipstick I find it’s sort of smeared but I’m between the 2 dots which I believe is where it’s suppose to be.
I reset the ecu by pulling some fuses. I drove about 75km around running errands and it didn’t pop up again...so far.

Ideally you'd like to be at the top dot, but between the dots is fine too.
True that when you pull the dipstick, clean it, and reinsert, on the next pull one side may be smeared, but the other side should have a clear reading.
This happens cause the dipstick tube isn't straight, so the one side that drags on the curve of the tube gets smeared. The other side should have a fairly clear reading.
