When the phone rings through the Bluetooth, the radio silences. As soon as I answer the call, however, the radio goes back on and the call automatically reverts to the iPhone. Any thoughts? I tried removing and re-adding the iPhone but same thing happens.

If I make a call it goes through Bluetooth without any hiccups. It's the receiving part that's loopy.

 

how are you answering the phone? by the steering wheel or the phone itself. if the phone itself, it will usually go back to the phone in my experience.

also which iphone and which firmware?

100% reason why. You have to use steering wheel control and it will use bluetooth

 

yeah i was doing that for a while and had to train myself to use the steering wheel. it's kind of dumb.. but i guess in case you're riding shotgun in your own car and want to answer the phone in private. of course you can always switch it back on the phone by tapping the option on the screen
