Default Oem trunk spoiler

I wanted to add the trunk spoiler to my car but I’m not sure where the best place to buy it from is. I found some “dealers” on eBay that sell them “oem” and painted but I’m not sure how legit they are. Can anyone chime in on this?

Bell lexus from Scottsdale, AZ on ebay is very dependable. I used them to pick up my painted oem spoiler.

If it’s a $200+ price with stock photos it’s likely a dealer selling the factory spoiler, note that you also need the mounting template to install properly. The template will have the correct markings in which to drill the holes for mounting and centering to the deck lid. Hope this helps ya out.

I got mine from here:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-and-Up...r/112993520632

Great quality and basically identical, can be done without drilling, and don't need a template either. The tape is VERY strong, so be careful when putting it on that you don't press down too hard or you won't get all the backing out.

You’re in BC right? I found oem factory spoiler for 275ish CAD, was there a reason why you chose that one over oem? I also wanted to ask what colour spoiler you bought, atomic silver I’m assuming?
I Was curious because I have an atomic 350 and thought it might look cool to do a silver/black look, so I blacked out front & rear emblems, shark fin antenna,20% tint all around...
next I want to do black vinyl wrap over chrome on grill, windows and vinyl wrap the roof black. Do you think a black spoiler (to match all the other black I have) would look good or kinda stupid?

Yes BC and yes Atomic Silver. Was the $275 one in Canada, as I think the dealers have them for $500+. $199US works out to about that much Canadian, if you can pick it up across the border. As far as I can tell it is identical to Lexus OEM, fit was perfect and quality great. I wasn't sure if the bolts on the OEM were removeable, and didn't REALLY want to have to drill.

I got my roof wrapped and side chrome done, very happy with it. Wanted to be conservative though, didn't want the "blackout look" with tinted windows and all chrome removed. I debated long enough with the rear window spoiler in that I ordered a silver one (for contrast) but then decided to get black, so had to send the first back. One guy with a white IS did the wraps and the OEM spoiler in black, but it was almost "too much" contrast.

Im only 30 min drive to Ogdensburg border so I could pick up,and save shipping. but they’re 279$ CAD + 53$ for shipping.
How long/well has the vinyl have held up? I know your winters aren’t like here in Ottawa, over here I’m worried when I get those huge chunks of ice stuck on the window and it falls down hitting the vinyl around the Chrome I’m going to damage it. I also don’t gave a garage so my cars outside 24/7 365.
I found a pic online of what I thought I would eventually like my car to look like, let me know if you think that’s to much black.

I've only had the wrap on for a month or so, haven't done any winters yet. Fortunately I park underground so hopefully that helps preserve it, and our winters are relatively mild.

I was originally planning to buy from one of those Lexus dealers like Bellevue, but it seemed like this one was essentially the same and would be a fair bit less, plus no need to drill. As mentioned, the thing fit great and quality was like OEM, exact paint match and everything. If you do get black, I've seen it for a fair bit less on eBay, I think $129 or $159, but can't vouch for the quality or anything.

As for the black on silver, the black roof and trim made the paint look "deeper" or richer somehow. In BC you cannot tint your front windows, and I don't like the looks of having just the rear sides done so I doubt I'll do any tint at all, especially considering our glass comes with a decent amount as is. Can't really give my opinion on the spoilers, as even with the gloss black window one I'm not totally sure if it'll over-do the look and haven't got it on yet! It was a choice between continuity with the roof, or continuity with the trunk spoiler, although I've seen some people do them differently. But too much of all that and it gets too tacked-on looking, sort of "trying too hard", imo. Same reason I didn't go with 2017+ rear bumper and quad tips, don't want it to look "too busy". Will hopefully get it put on the next few days.
