Wing mirror repair or replace?
My missus reversed into the brick pillar, breaking the black plastic surround off the wing mirror.
Because the black plastic has undergone plastic deformation, it cannot be superglued back, because there is a large opening into which water can penetrate.
Can we buy a new plastic housing that is prepainted bronze, or must we purchase a whole new bronze wing mirror including the electric motor and the mirror itself?

Yes you can. The painted shell and the black trim piece you can.
It will be listed as COVER, OUTER MIRROR LH No. 2 or COVER, OUTER MIRROR RH No. 2
Depending on which side, also have paint code ready since you can find it by color code to match the paint.
