Extending sun visors

I'm assuming those will activate the light when the mirror is opened? I'm thinking the mounting will be the same as in the IS and will share the same plug for the harness.
Can you get measurements for the following? If the distance from center of the mount to the center of the clip that holds the visor is the same, it would give us a pretty good idea if the swap will actually work, provided the width dimension of the visor itself is not too wide.

Haven't had a chance to come back to this thread I've been so busy lately. So it's looking like the GS ones won't fit? Bummer. Do the visors not extend even on the 2017+ IS'?
I'm also now thinking of how to modify the existing ones. I have access to Solidworks and a 3D printer to make some sort of prototype, but I don't see how it could be installed without removing the fabric on the visor. And I'm pretty sure that fabric is assembled to go on and never come off again.

It's just a matter of pulling the trigger on getting part. New one costs $125.

I asked some to measure RC visor and that one will fit somewhat. RC one is 10" vs IS 10.5" mounting point. Someone mentioned that smaller one can fit into longer one because you just have to extend .5" to snap into the holder so I'm sure RC visor will work out.

Visor width is 13.5” on RC vs 14” on IS. I think it should fit.

Was able to get a pair of excellent condition RC visors fairly cheap. They're slightly shorter than the stock IS, but they don't look out of place when folded in place and do the job well enough when extended. My apologies on the lighting, grabbed these pics in the office garage.
Extension doesn't reach the edge of the window, not sure if maybe RX or another model's visors are extendable and more the correct size? Even with the gap, it blocks out most of the sun and I keep my seat pretty far back.

So after a couple days running with these, there's slightly more adjustment I need to do when facing into the sun at some angles because of the slightly more narrow width, but the added functionality outweighs this.
I would still probably recommend looking into if maybe the ES, RX or another model has extendable visors and see if any of them fit and are more similar in size/shape to the stock IS visor.

I just tried 2024 NX sunvisors and the attachment point is slightly longer, but besides that they seem to fit fine. They are the EXACT same shape. Just with extension.
white part is slightly bigger on NX but still fit somehow.

That sounds promising! I just drove my new-to-me 2022 IS350 5 hours home from the dealer I found it at and the sun was on the side of my face almost the entire drive home. The visors in my LX570 slide AND there's a second mini-visor under them so that you can have both the front and side covered at the same time. So not being able to even slide the IS visor was a bit of a shock. Besides that I'm thrilled with the car so the NX visor swap sounds like it could work.
Do you have any pictures of them installed? Do they still lock in place even with the attachment point being a little further out?
