Default Question for RC owners

Does the sun visor on RC350 have extension? I have 3rd gen IS350 but mine is fixed I was thinking of swapping sun visors if I can find something from junkyard or eBay. Commuting with sun on my side of the face is bothering not sure why Lexus made sun visors in the car so small and not extendable. I remember 2nd gen IS had it.

Can someone measure the sun visor in RC? I need these dimensions for driver side. I’m trying to replace the one in IS which doesn’t extend vs extending one in RC.

Thanks for the info. 10" is the center of the mounting point? Visor is extendable?

Yes. 10" from center of mounting point (left side) to center of the snap mounting clip (right side). The visor extends 3".

Thanks appreciate your effort. Unfortunately I don't think I can swap the visor to my car, I thought half an inch difference might be ok but looking carefully visor will not snap into the holder.

If the distance between the swivel mount and the clip is longer on the IS, as it appears, then I would think the RC visor would still clip in. Because the RC visor slides out, you'd just extend it out half an inch then lock it into place, no? Not perfect, but it might be as close as you're going to get.

Any updates on this? We've got a thread going in the IS forum regarding this and I'm wondering if anyone has actually tried it yet. Thanks!

IMO, any car manufacturer that doesn't use sliding visors should be put under the Trump business plan - bankruptcy.

Also keep in mind that although the size of the RC sun visor is slightly smaller than that of the IS, the shape is also different. In other words, the RC sun visor may or may not sit properly on the concave part of the headliner when it is in the folded up position.
