Default Triple Beam Headlights and Black Line Editions

Are you guys finding that there are IS models at your local dealerships having triple beam headlights along with other options installed? Additionally, I'm also finding several "Black Line" editions on the lot as well - like around 2-3 in each local dealership inventory.

At least around my local dealerships here, I've recently seen more IS's having these accessories/options. For the 2017-2019 models, I'm curious to see how the triple beam headlights compare with the regular ones that are standard. On my '18, I actually prefer the look of the standard LED projector headlights vs. the triple beams.

I can't say exactly for the IS, but I expect it to be like for the NX. Plenty of light from the triple beams, more than the single projectors. I had the pre face-lift IS3 with dual LED projectors, and I recon the light from my triple beam NX is stronger.

My dealer (where I get service done) had both a Black Line IS 300 AWD and an IS 350 AWD F Sport with triple-beam headlights. I only saw one of each lol.

I can also confirm the wheels on the Black Line are much darker than normal F Sport wheels, something that might not have been obvious from the press photos.

Thanks, I would think that the triple beams would output a lot more light than the single projectors. I just personally don't care for the look/appearance of them compared to the standard projectors.

I know Lexus made only a limited number of them, but was just curious of how large of an inventory dealerships had. It sounds like 1-3 at each is becoming more common at each lot. Yes, I noticed too that the wheels are much darker even than my '18 gunmetal wheels.

I only saw one Blackline in all the Texas dealerships in May when I bought my 350. It looks real nice in person but the 350 was only $2000 more (most options) but with regular LED lights. The Blackline was the only one I saw with triple LED installed at the time.

Personally, I like the triple beam headlights but I am not a fan of the black line edition. I saw one in the flesh and personally, I don't like the more polished/shiny finish on teh wheels, don't like the black deck lid spoiler or black mirrors. I did love the two-tone seats though, just the right amount of red/black.

My 2 cents...

i plan on swapping to the triple beams on my car, but jdm because i don’t want the amber in the headlight. from what i’ve heard light projection was about the same for both! i like the blackline edition in atomic silver the most or black

I got this car for the wife 2019 350 FSport and I actually like the triple beam headlights. It looks like my GSF headlights. Made some cosmetic changes carbon fiber stuff I put on the car.
