Unhappy Flaky USB iPhone connection keeps disconnecting from bluetooth

I have an iPhone X and frequently plug it in via usb for charging.

My preference is to keep it on bluetooth connection at all times because it displays audio information (artist, title, etc) while the wired connection (wired usb) does not.

Issue #1: When I start my car, I have to set up my phone so that it goes from the preferred connection (wired usb) to bluetooth connection.
  • How can I setup my iPhone so that it by default (and prefers) chooses bluetooth instead of wired usb (docker connection) whenever I start my car?
Issue #2: The lighting port on my iPhone is quite flaky, so whenever I accidentally touch the wire, it restarts the wired connection, which triggers my lexus to disconnect from bluetooth and switch over to the wired connection.
  • I've tried various wires, so it's not an issue with the lighting cable itself.
  • How can I configure my lexus so that even if the wired connection is getting reset or I plug the wire in at any point, that it maintains the bluetooth connection and remains unchanged?

get a cigerette lighter usb output rather than using the usb connections from the car.
