Zero point calibration :(
I am writing this to vent and also to hopefully to help someone that might be running in the same situation.
It started with me trying to program my summer set of tpms sensors thru Techstream. For the life of me I could not get this program working even tho I ended up getting a windows xp 32 bit. Anyways, long story short I believe that by me trying to get this working I somehow thru the OBD2 port messed up my car. The errors I am getting are: "Check ABS" and "Check PCS". These were all working fine just before.
things I have tried:
- Pull battery cables
- Pull ETCS and EFI fuse (basically does the same as pull out battery cables)
- Run techstream and reset codes (altho I do not trust my version of techstream since i was never able to program my tpms)
I found in the net that some people get this ABS and PCS errors when messing around with the obd2 connector and was solved by doing a Zero Point Calibration. Now, I recall on one of the errors I was getting from my techstream something about a zero calibration (need to plug it and read again) and I think that is what it was referring to.
Anyways, before I try the procedure bellow, do you guys have any other quick/easy suggestions i can try out?, not sure how I feel about putting paper clips to this connector and messing around with it this way.

The Zero point calibration can be done with the Techstream in moments.
What version do you have?
Do you know all the codes you are getting? If you could list them we can be of more assistance.

ahhhhh. I see it on this post bellow, looks easy
Originally I did not think on posting/asking here so I did not write any errors (should have!). I have downloaded and installed/uninstalled a few of versions (10, 12, 13) thinking maybe earlier/newer vesrsions would solve my tpms loading problem. Anyways, currently I have v12.
Not sure if I will have time to do this tonite (sister's daughter bday after work, plus Raptors!). But if it only takes a a couple of mins then I will
Thanks.

Once you go through the Techstream menus, I believe all you need is to have the car parked on level ground (or as level as you can find) with the steering wheel straight ahead (assuming you're alignment is good).
When the calibration starts, I think the steering wheel vibrates...and that's pretty much it. Of course I'm going off my failing memory...so potentially I could have missed something...but it's super easy and quick with the Techstream nonetheless.

Did the Zero Point calibration thru techstream yesterday. Worked and no more warning lights on dashboard. Thanks Sasnuke.
What I did was (maybe some not needed but I did it anyways just in case):
- Set my tire pressure to proper spec
- Parked the car on flat surface with no incline/decline
- Set steering and wheels to point straight
- Run techstream full diagnostics
- Run techstream as shown in link post #4 (their post #1 AND post #3)
- Done
Notes:
The steering wheel did not shake.
My techstream did not go thru the first time I tried it. It game me a communication error but I run it again and went thru ok.
