Shifter randomly locked
This isn't your lucky day @Pittsy LOL!
The Add-a-fuse is plugged into the spot that was occupied by the 10A IGN No.1 fuse.
The IGN No. 1 fuse powers the Shift Lock Control ECU.
I think we can call this mystery solved.

HAHA ****tttt I guess it is my lucky day!

I would suggest that OP go buy a mirror tap and get rid of that add-a-fuse. Mystery Solved!
Thanks Sasnuke!
You have to take a look at the Add-a-fuse and see what the issue is.
Is it too big? Too loose? Won't plug in all the way tight? etc.
Once you get it to fit properly then you really shouldn't have an issue.
The reality is the wire is already there...if it can work, might as go that route rather than using the mirror tap.
Last resort would be to hook it to the mirror.
If you had it installed somewhere, take it back to them if you're not sure what's wrong with the Add-a-fuse.
All it really does is add a circuit to that fuse for the radar detector...so I'm guessing it's just a contact issue.

Again if none of these solve your problems a mirror tap is your best bet. I've had mine for 4 months now and haven't had any issues, and it looks super good.
If the issue was excessive current, the fuse would have blown and that would be that...no shift lock at all.
The OP said it happened sometimes, so that indicates to me that it's a connection issue...like if the Add-a-fuse is loose in the fuse box...sometimes is touching well and the circuit is complete, and other times it's loose and the circuit is open.
