Question HOW LONG Will You KEEP Your IS?

Hola, just curious & wondering for HOW MANY YEARS do you plan on keeping your IS before selling, trading in/up, upgrading, etc, and... what is your reasoning, decision factors, variables, etc? THANKS!!

PS >>> apologies if this same topic was previously posted.

I almost kept my 2016 IS but, I decided to just lease a 2019 instead. If I could, forever, I'll have 3 more years to decide whether or not the next IS is worth upgrading. I'm sure we'll have another refresh by then.

I am keeping my IS 300 AWD till the lease is over.. If I end up with another IS after that, I plan to hang onto it for a few years. Not sure whether it will be another IS, but it is in the running.

Until I find something that I'd rather have. I've had my 3is for over 5 years and there is nothing out there that I'm willing to have a car payment for.
Honestly, I'm kind of amazed at how much I still love driving my car, which helps.

Same situation. However, we just purchased an RX for my wife and I do have to say it is tempting as a next vehicle.I will miss the ability to go bad sh^t crazy in the corners but I rarely do that now. I would wait until Apple Car Play is supported.

If I can ever find one, probably about 10 years. I tend to drive cars into the ground.

Anyone want to sell me there 2014-2016 range IS?

Lease is ending in August. So i'll return it then.

Tempted by the new Tesla model 3. But maybe in a few years. lol.

I haven't been driving my IS for over a week now... it's on empty. i fill it up and it seems lt needs fuel again in 3 days. kind of sick of it. 240 hp doesn't justify 17mpg.

I think BMW M2s are getting 22mpg.. with aggressive driving. lol

At least 5 more years on my 14. Our 1st child arriving next month so the car has taken the back seat so to speak.

I am a huge fan of the IS line since always but I would like more power AND more mpg. Being fun to drive comes 1st. Kind of like E46CT comment on M2...I dont want a bmw but those numbers do look nice.

It kind of depends on performance options in 5 years from now. If I can pick up a daily driver and build my IS up, great. But as of now 6k for a supercharger isn't in the cards for me.
playing with the idea of my 1st lease depending on what happens with the 4IS.

Soon enough we all may have BMW numbers if Lexus decides to use their engines for the next IS
