Hit and run from snowplow. I seen the dashcam footage but it had been overwritten.. I have to pay my $1000 deductible and the rest is covered by insurance. I think over $10,000 in damages to whole driver's side from rear bumper to front bumper. Learned my lesson not to park in mainstreets

OMG - that is horrible!! Is there no way to see who was doing the snow route from their log? Sure the DOT/City would/should be held accountable for something like that...I would be LIVID!

Did the van in front of you sustain any damages?
These are the exacts things that ran through my mind.
i had the city damage my previous car and i filed a claim. After submitting a quote for the repairs, i was mailed a check from the comptroller on the amount of the damages. Only took a few months. so don't give up, theyre liable and responsible.
That sucks. Too bad the footage was overwritten but definitely follow up with the city. I believe Chicago had a fund for people's cars getting damaged by potholes in the winter. Toronto's streets departments might have insurance for this kind of stuff.
My first thought was that those horrible gouges were already starting to rust but am hoping that
we are just (just?) seeing the rust from the #%&@ plow blade transferred to your bumper cover
and doors.
