Any other 18' FSport owners feel their heated seats are too weak..I am reading and see it looks like this was an issue back in 2014-2016..On my 2018 they are definitely not getting hot - just barely warm at best on the highest setting. Can any 17' 18' 19' owners share their experiences? Thanks!
I wonder if this is actually a difference between the regions or not, because I definitely can't complain about my '14 IS250 F Sport. I've owned and driven with a lot of different cars and I'd say that not only do the seats and the steering wheel heat A LOT quicker than on other cars, they also get so hot that I cannot have the seat heating on max for over a few minutes or when I'm completely frozen. The steering wheel also gets to the point where I'm starting to feel uncomfortable and turn it off, really fast.

I'm in Toronto, Canada don't you think mine would be outfitted with the "hotter spec" if that were the case?
2014. to give you some idea, I'll have the seats on three and forget/wondering if they are on for my 1hr drive to work. While in my wife's VW 5 minutes in on 3 and its roasting chestnuts on an open fire LOL and even when on 1, I am looking to turn it off after 30 minutes of driving.

If they're on 3 and you can't feel it, maybe something is wrong. I can't leave mine on 3 for more than a few minutes before they're a bit too hot for me. Have you worked with a dealer or shop yet?
I have a 17. They're pathetic. On really cold days I have my heated jacket, seats, and steering wheel on. Only really feel heat from my jacket. The others are just not cold lol
Thanks guys. FYI I called 2 dealerships just to ask the question - they have had a few complaints there as well. All the complaints end up “operating as designed” Soo..not worth an hour trip to the dealership to be told it’s normal..
I think this is like a car to car case... Mine is also 18' F-Sport but my seats get pretty hot (when fully on, 3 dots) that it's a little uncomfortable to sit on. I usually turn it down to only 1 dot, the first thing I do after starting the car in the winter lol.
My ‘17 300 seats do get warm at their highest setting, but have to agree, they’re still a little weak. I have them set to automatically turn down with the built in timers. They’re nowhere near as hot as the ones in my ‘11 Camry, it only has one setting though, on/off. I often wondered if they’re designed this way to somehow protect the Nulux materials the seats are made of, my Camry is leather. Maybe the Nulux somehow prohibits the transfer of the heat as well?. I’ve notice it’s hit or miss with owners liking the heating abilities. So I raise this question, if you believe them to be hot enough like other vehicles you’ve been in/own, do you have the Nulux or leather seats? Just curious as I’ve read some people say theirs worked fine.
I rarely use it here in Miami but when it did hit 40s in the morning I would use it for a few minutes. They took awhile to get warm but it was decent. This was my 16' F Sport. I did compare it to my wife's Hyundai and the Hyundai did feel much warmer.
